Discover what you can do starting from here!
The location of Tenuta I Musi Lunghi is ideal for food and wine, cultural, and naturalistic journeys. We organize visits for guests to local ham factories, the center of production for the renowned Prosciutto di Parma, and to cheese factories where you can learn all the secrets of Parmigiano Reggiano, the best cheese in the world.
You can also go on cycling excursions, including with e-bikes (with or without a guide), explore the art trail that starts from the Castle of Torrechiara, or tackle more or less challenging trekking routes on the hills surrounding Valparma. Discover the magnificent lakes and stop to eat in the mountain refuges. You can explore the Barboj, the geysers of Lesignano, a true wonder of nature!
Not far from here, Parma will surprise you with its historical and architectural beauties, Piazza Duomo, nestled between the Cathedral, the magnificent pink marble Baptistery by Antelami, and the Bishop’s Palace, the museums, the Complesso Monumentale della Pilotta with the National Gallery and the wonderful Teatro Farnese, the Palatine Library. You can visit the Teatro Regio, a famous lyric theater where you can attend performances of the Verdi Festival, concerts, and ballets. In just over 30 minutes, you can also reach the Labyrinth of the Masone, the world’s largest green labyrinth commissioned by Pier Maria Rossi, and Colorno, to visit the magnificent Reggia that belonged to Maria Luigia of Austria, the beloved duchess of Parma.
If you also want to do some shopping, you can head to Fidenza Village, an outlet famous for its elegant boutiques of the most prestigious brands.
Finally, don’t forget that this is the Food Valley! You can stop to eat in the best trattorias and restaurants in the area to enjoy unforgettable lunches and dinners!
