WHO ARE MUSI LUNGHI?

My name is Michela and I will welcome you upon your arrival, striving to make your stay at my bed & breakfast unforgettable. I live here with my husband Fabio and my son Edo, but our family also includes 6 dogs, 4 cats, horses, cows, and a large number of chickens, ducks, and geese. Here, I have realized my lifelong dream here: living in close contact with nature and making this dream my profession.

At Tenuta I Musi Lunghi, you will find fresh eggs every day, wine made from our grapes, harvested on a beautiful September day with lifelong friends. You can taste my strawberries and hazelnuts, the extra virgin olive oil made from my olives. And you will enjoy the silent view of one of the most beautiful valleys in the area.

THE BED & BREAKFAST

The historic buildings on the estate, in addition to the family home, stables, and riding arena,
provided the ideal setting for offering guests an unforgettable stay.

This led to the creation of two bed & breakfast rooms:
Staderano (Double room) and Torclara (Family Room).
Both feature natural materials, light colors, silence, cleanliness, and order.

Breakfast is prepared on the spot with homemade, organic ingredients,
mostly produced on the estate.

At Tenuta I Musi Lunghi, we take in older horses that are at the end of their careers or whose owners are unable to care for them.
I personally take care of our horses and those we look after, offering them time in large paddocks or a run in the round pen, warm mash in winter and fresh mash in summer, administered regularly, and hay from our own production. Your friends are housed in spacious stalls with windows. For more information, please contact me.

The farm

The production at Tenuta I Musi Lunghi is not characterized by large quantities but by great quality, derived from respecting the natural cycles of the seasons, caring for the soil, allowing time for fruits and vegetables to ripen, hand-harvesting olives, and from harvesting to jam making. At times, you may not find eggs because hens, geese, and ducks may have decided that they prefer to take a break on that day. Other times, we may have run out of strawberries just a few hours after harvest, or the bottles of oil may be fewer than expected. These are the natural cycles, the rain and the sun, the good or bad moods of the animals. I respect all of this and every day, I discover a new branch, a leaf more or less. I work with joy with the animals and plants, caress the earth, and await the fruits.

Once a year, the grape harvest and olive picking become an opportunity to spend joyful days with friends We gather, we laugh, and we eat together, looking at the view that fills my heart with joy every day

In 2025, we began a special collaboration: Sensini1953, a historic bakery in Parma, entrusted us and the fields of Tenuta I Musi Lunghi with the cultivation of wheat for the production of flour that it will use for its bread. The wheat, grown here in our paradise, is processed and transformed into flour by Molino Quaglia-Petra.
Giancarlo Sensini, in the brand new headquarters in Langhirano, closes the circle by producing bread and baked goods that have been on the tables of Parmigiani for many years,
who love to eat healthy and tasty food.
A synergy that makes us proud and allows us to bring the value of our land to your home!
